Passionate Advocates for Clients.

As the directors of Atkinson Crehan Law, Jacintha Atkinson-Manson and Amanda Crehan are collectively driven by a passion for helping others and delivering exceptional outcomes.

Both women have enjoyed successful careers in their own right, with Jacintha citing becoming a partner and co-founding her own law firm before 40 as a major milestone. “For me, this was a particular highlight, and I’m grateful for a supportive business partner and family who give me the confidence and space to juggle owning a business and parenting.”

Amanda became a partner within five years of qualifying—a significant achievement at a time when female partners were still rare. “I also led my firm’s graduate programme for three years, and another highlight was being admitted to the High Court of New Zealand by Dame Sian Elias, one of the first women in the country to ‘take silk.’”

Passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, the team at Atkinson Crehan Law takes pride in guiding clients through legal processes with clarity and confidence, ensuring every case is handled with expertise and care. Their success is built on dedication, experience, and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding legal support.

Jacintha says the best compliment is when a client says, ‘Gosh, you made that easy and stress-free.’ “I enjoy helping others into property or resolving matters in a plain English manner. Achieving a result beyond a client’s expectations is incredibly rewarding,” adds Amanda. “I hate injustice in all its forms, and being able to put right a wrong, even in a small way, is immensely satisfying.”
